"Thou shalt not give him thy money upon interest, nor give him thy victuals for increase." — Leviticus 25:37 (ASV)

Thou shalt not give him. —This is simply an emphatic repetition of the declaration in the previous verse, and favours the ancient distinction between the two terms.
