Charles Ellicott Commentary Leviticus 26:45

"but I will for their sakes remember the covenant of their ancestors, whom I brought forth out of the land of Egypt in the sight of the nations, that I might be their God: I am Jehovah." — Leviticus 26:45 (ASV)

But I will for their sakes remember the covenant. —Better, And will remember for them the covenant, that is, as their God, He will fulfill for them the covenant which He made with their ancestors. This verse is therefore closely connected with the preceding verse.
