"And if he sanctify unto Jehovah a field which he hath bought, which is not of the field of his possession;" — Leviticus 27:22 (ASV)

And if a man sanctify to the Lord a field which he has bought. —But if a man vows a field which he has acquired by purchase, and which is only his until the next Jubilee, when it reverts to its original owner , the case is necessarily different. Such a leased field, when vowed to the Lord, is to be dealt with as follows:
