"And the flesh and the skin he burnt with fire without the camp." — Leviticus 9:11 (ASV)
And the flesh and the hide he burnt. —The flesh and the hide, which were ordinarily the perquisite of the officiating priest , were on this occasion to be burnt, because the priest was not permitted to partake of the sin offering which he offered for himself. (See Leviticus 4:35.)
