"And he washed the inwards and the legs, and burnt them upon the burnt-offering on the altar." — Leviticus 9:14 (ASV)
And burnt them upon the burnt offering. —That is, no special fire is to be kindled for it, but this burnt offering is to be put upon the top of the burning sin offering. (See Leviticus 4:35.)
