SCRIPTURE
"So Aaron drew near unto the altar, and slew the calf of the sin-offering, which was for himself." — Leviticus 9:8 (ASV)
And slew the calf. — As the sacrificer Aaron, like every ordinary offerer, slaughtered the victim himself on the north side of the altar .
