"And he said, This will I do: I will pull down my barns, and build greater; and there will I bestow all my grain and my goods." — Luke 12:18 (ASV)
I will pull down my barns.—The Greek noun (apothekè, from which our “apothecary” comes,) has a somewhat wider meaning, and includes storehouses or warehouses of all kinds.
All my fruits.—Here, too, the Greek word is somewhat wider. Literally, produce—that is, crops of every kind.
