"And he said unto him, Thy brother is come; and thy father hath killed the fatted calf, because he hath received him safe and sound." — Luke 15:27 (ASV)
Because he hath received him safe and sound.—Literally, in health. The participle is the same which we have noted as characteristic of St. Luke and St. Paul in Luke 5:31; Luke 7:10.
