Who shall not receive manifold more.—Note, as again, perhaps, characteristic, the omission of the essentially Jewish image of sitting on twelve thrones in St. Matthew, of the clause with persecutions, in St. Mark, and of the words, Many that are first shall be last... which we find in both.
