Glorifying God.—The account of the effect of the miracle on the blind man himself, and on the people, is unique to St. Luke, and seems to belong to the class of phenomena which he loved to study (Luke 5:25–26; Luke 7:16; Acts 3:8; Acts 14:10–11).
