"I say unto you, that unto every one that hath shall be given; but from him that hath not, even that which he hath shall be taken away from him." — Luke 19:26 (ASV)

Unto every one which hath shall be given.—This again takes its place among the often-repeated axioms of our Lord’s teaching. It meets us after the parable of the Sower (Luke 8:18; Matthew 13:12; Mark 4:25), in that of the Talents (Matthew 25:29), and here. (See Notes on the several passages.)
