"And he was parted from them about a stone`s cast; and he kneeled down and prayed," — Luke 22:41 (ASV)
About a stone’s cast.—The descriptive touch, implying a report coming directly or indirectly from an eyewitness, is peculiar to Luke.
Kneeled down, and prayed.—Literally, and was praying. The tense of the latter verb implies continuous and sustained prayer.
