Charles Ellicott Commentary Luke 7:17

"And this report went forth concerning him in the whole of Judaea, and all the region round about." — Luke 7:17 (ASV)

This rumour of him went forth throughout all Judæa.—Nain itself was in Galilee, and St. Luke apparently names Judea, wanting to show how far the fame of the miracle had spread.
