Charles Ellicott Commentary Mark 16:6

"And he saith unto them, Be not amazed: ye seek Jesus, the Nazarene, who hath been crucified: he is risen; he is not here: behold, the place where they laid him!" — Mark 16:6 (ASV)

Be not affrighted.—The words agree substantially with those in Matthew 28:5-8, but omit the fuller appeal to the women to remember the words that their Lord had spoken while He was still with them in Galilee.
