"And a multitude was sitting about him; and they say unto him, Behold, thy mother and thy brethren without seek for thee." — Mark 3:32 (ASV)

Thy mother and thy brethren.—Many manuscripts of high authority add, and Thy sisters, and so explain the emphatic addition of that word in Mark 3:35.
