"While he yet spake, they come from the ruler of the synagogue`s [house] saying, Thy daughter is dead: why troublest thou the Teacher any further?" — Mark 5:35 (ASV)
Why troublest thou.—The primary meaning of the verb is “to strip or flay.” (See Note on Matthew 9:36.)
The Master.—Strictly, as almost always, the Teacher.
