"Then again he laid his hands upon his eyes; and he looked stedfastly, and was restored, and saw all things clearly." — Mark 8:25 (ASV)

Every man.—The better manuscripts give “all things.” Clearly.—This is probably the right rendering of the true reading; but the received text gives a word which implies that he was far-sighted, as well as clear-sighted.
