Charles Ellicott Commentary Matthew 12:15

"And Jesus perceiving [it] withdrew from thence: and many followed him; and he healed them all," — Matthew 12:15 (ASV)

He withdrew Himself from there — The coalition of the two dominant parties led to a temporary retirement from Capernaum as the usual scene of His labors. In this, He was putting into practice, as an example, the rule He had previously given as a command (Matthew 10:23).

He healed them all — That is, all who needed healing and fulfilled its conditions.
