"But blessed are your eyes, for they see; and your ears, for they hear." — Matthew 13:16 (ASV)
Blessed are your eyes—The words are spoken to the small company of disciples in the boat. They were not like the multitude. They might see but dimly, and be slow of heart to understand, but at least they had eyes that looked for light and ears that were open to the divine voice.
