"And Jesus said unto them, How many loaves have ye? And they said, Seven, and a few small fishes." — Matthew 15:34 (ASV)

Seven, and a few little fishes —The resemblance of this answer to the one given before is, at least, interesting, as it shows the provisions the traveling company of preachers habitually made for their daily needs. The few barley loaves and dried fish—this was their entire supply as they went from village to village or spent days and nights on the hills of Galilee.
