"And the disciples went, and did even as Jesus appointed them," — Matthew 21:6 (ASV)

And the disciples went: St. Mark and St. Luke give a more graphic account of their finding the colt, of the question asked by the owner and the bystanders why they did it, and of their answering in the words they had been told to use: The Lord hath need of them. They returned with the ass and the colt, and then the procession began.
