SCRIPTURE

"And he answered and said, He that dipped his hand with me in the dish, the same shall betray me." — Matthew 26:23 (ASV)

He that dippeth his hand with me —Better, he that dipped, as of an act just passed. It seems probable from what follows that these words also were spoken to only a few of the disciples, perhaps to the four who were nearest to their Master. We can scarcely think of Judas as asking the question of Matthew 26:25 if he had heard the words and knew that they pointed to him as the traitor.
