"and I will cut off the cities of thy land, and will throw down all thy strongholds." — Micah 5:11 (ASV)

I will cut off the cities. —Fenced cities and the other paraphernalia of war will be unnecessary in the Messiah’s kingdom: they shall not learn war any more (Micah 4:3).
