"He hath showed thee, O man, what is good; and what doth Jehovah require of thee, but to do justly, and to love kindness, and to walk humbly with thy God?" — Micah 6:8 (ASV)

To do justly ...—God “values mercy more highly than sacrifice.” So also in Ecclesiastes: Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter. Fear God and keep His commandments, for this is the whole of man. (Ecclesiastes 12:13).
