Charles Ellicott Commentary Micah 7:13

"Yet shall the land be desolate because of them that dwell therein, for the fruit of their doings." — Micah 7:13 (ASV)

Notwithstanding the land shall be desolate. —There is still bitterness in the cup. In the midst of the triumphant expectation of the glory to come, the vision of the desolation of the land in the near future rises up, because of the sins of the people.
