Charles Ellicott Commentary Numbers 16:10

"and that he hath brought thee near, and all thy brethren the sons of Levi with thee? and seek ye the priesthood also?" — Numbers 16:10 (ASV)

And seek ye the priesthood also? —The Targums of Onkelos and Jonathan understand the reference to be to the high priesthood. As the other Levites who belonged to Korah’s company sought the priesthood, so Korah may have aimed at the high priesthood.
