Charles Ellicott Commentary

Charles Ellicott Commentary
"It is a continual burnt-offering, which was ordained in mount Sinai for a sweet savor, an offering made by fire unto Jehovah." — Numbers 28:6 (ASV)
Which was ordained in Mount Sinai ... Or, which was offered (Hebrew, made) in Mount Sinai. Ibn Ezra cites this passage as proof that the Israelites ceased to offer burnt sacrifices after they left the encampment at Sinai throughout the time of their wanderings in the wilderness.
