SCRIPTURE
"A wise son [heareth] his father`s instruction; But a scoffer heareth not rebuke." — Proverbs 13:1 (ASV)
A wise son hears his father’s instruction. —Or, is his father’s instruction, i.e., the result and embodiment of it.
