"A good man leaveth an inheritance to his children`s children; And the wealth of the sinner is laid up for the righteous." — Proverbs 13:22 (ASV)
A good man.— As this corresponds to the “just” man in the next line, who is one who “renders to all their due” (see above on Proverbs 10:2), it probably has the meaning here of “liberal,” “unselfish;” such a person gains the promise given in Proverbs 11:25.
