"A righteous man hateth lying; But a wicked man is loathsome, and cometh to shame." — Proverbs 13:5 (ASV)

A wicked man is loathsome, and cometh to shame. —Or it may signify, “disgraces and puts to shame” (by his calumnies), or “acts contemptibly and shamefully.”
