"He that is soon angry will deal foolishly; And a man of wicked devices is hated." — Proverbs 14:17 (ASV)

Acts foolishly.— Does silly things, and makes himself an object of ridicule, but not of hatred; whereas the “man of (wicked) devices” is hated for his cold-blooded malice.
