"The highway of the upright is to depart from evil: He that keepeth his way preserveth his soul." — Proverbs 16:17 (ASV)
The highway of the upright is to depart from evil. —This is the plain way of duty, which lies right before him, which cannot be mistaken, whatever other difficulties he may have. (See above on Proverbs 6:23.)
He that keeps his way.— That one pays careful attention to it.
