SCRIPTURE

"A worthless witness mocketh at justice; And the mouth of the wicked swalloweth iniquity." — Proverbs 19:28 (ASV)

An ungodly (worthless) witness scorns judgment. — Despises the orders of the Law to avoid perjury (Exodus 20:16; Leviticus 5:1). (Compare to 1 Kings 8:31).

The mouth of the wicked devours iniquity. — As a dainty morsel. .
