SCRIPTURE

"The full soul loatheth a honeycomb; But to the hungry soul every bitter thing is sweet." — Proverbs 27:7 (ASV)

The full soul loathes an honeycomb.— So the moderate use of the good things of this life increases our enjoyment of them. But in spiritual things, the less we content ourselves with, the less hunger we feel, and less enjoyment do we derive from them.
