"Mine enemies reproach me all the day; They that are mad against me do curse by me." — Psalms 102:8 (ASV)
Sworn against me. —Rather, swear by me, that is, make his name a byword for cursing, to be explained by Isaiah 65:15; Jeremiah 29:22. Septuagint and Vulgate, “were swearing against me.”
