"Their soul abhorreth all manner of food; And they draw near unto the gates of death." — Psalms 107:18 (ASV)

Soul. — The Hebrew word for soul is very commonly used for strong appetite , so that we might paraphrase, "their appetite is turned to loathing." Compare this verse with Job 33:20.
