"Thy word have I laid up in my heart, That I might not sin against thee." — Psalms 119:11 (ASV)

Your word. —This is a different term than the one used in Psalm 119:9. The two are interchanged throughout the psalm.

Hid... —Just as people in the East hid treasures. .

In my heart, that I might not sin against you. —The best comment on this is contained in our Lord’s words (Matthew 15:19).
