"Arise, O Jehovah, into thy resting-place; Thou, and the ark of thy strength." — Psalms 132:8 (ASV)

Ark of your strength. — See the reference in Chronicles. The expression occurs only in Psalms 78:61, where the word strength by itself denotes the ark. The technical word ark occurs nowhere else in the Psalms. For strength, the Septuagint and Vulgate have “sanctification.”
