SCRIPTURE

"Quicken me, O Jehovah, for thy name`s sake: In thy righteousness bring my soul out of trouble. And in thy lovingkindness cut off mine enemies, And destroy all them that afflict my soul; For I am thy servant." — Psalms 143:11-12 (ASV)

The last two verses are made of reminiscences of former psalm experiences. The verbs should be in the future, not the imperative.

For thy name’s sake.—Compare to (Psalms 23:3) and other similar passages.
