"Show thy marvellous lovingkindness, O thou that savest by thy right hand them that take refuge [in thee ]From those that rise up [against them]." — Psalms 17:7 (ASV)

Show. —Literally, Separate; but , from its use to express God’s providential care of Israel in distinction to other nations, it additionally acquires the idea of wonder and miracle (Exodus 8:22; Exodus 9:4; Exodus 11:7; and so on). The Septuagint and Vulgate, make thy mercies appear wonderful.
