"He brought me forth also into a large place; He delivered me, because he delighted in me." — Psalms 18:19 (ASV)

A large place. —Compare to Psalms 4:1. But there is direct historical allusion to the settlement of Israel in Canaan, as will be seen by a comparison of the Hebrew with Exodus 3:8, and Numbers 14:8.
