Charles Ellicott Commentary

Charles Ellicott Commentary
"The foreigners shall fade away, And shall come trembling out of their close places." — Psalms 18:45 (ASV)
Fade away — that is, wither like vegetation before a scorching blast.
Be afraid out of their close places. — Better, come trembling out of their castles. The Septuagint and Vulgate have “grow old and came limping from their paths.”
