Charles Ellicott Commentary Psalms 18:6

"In my distress I called upon Jehovah, And cried unto my God: He heard my voice out of his temple, And my cry before him came into his ears." — Psalms 18:6 (ASV)

Out Of his temple. — Rather, Place — plainly, as in Psalm 11:4; Psalms 29:9, the heavenly dwelling of Jehovah.

My cry. — In Samuel only, my cry in his ears.
