"Deliver me not over unto the will of mine adversaries: For false witnesses are risen up against me, And such as breathe out cruelty." — Psalms 27:12 (ASV)

By slightly changing a letter, we avoid the awkward ellipse in Psalms 27:13, and get

“Such as breathe out cruelty against me, So that I did not believe to see,” etc.
