"Oh love Jehovah, all ye his saints: Jehovah preserveth the faithful, And plentifully rewardeth him that dealeth proudly." — Psalms 31:23 (ASV)

Preserveth the faithful. —Or, perhaps, by rendering the abstract instead of the concrete, keeps faith. The Septuagint and Vulgate have “requireth truths.”
