Charles Ellicott Commentary Psalms 34:15

"The eyes of Jehovah are toward the righteous, And his ears are [open] unto their cry." — Psalms 34:15 (ASV)

The eyes. —A verse quoted in 1 Peter 3:12. (See New Testament Commentary). This psalm had a deep hold on the national mind. With the expression, his ears to their cry, we may compare the phrase, “to have a person's ear.”
