Charles Ellicott Commentary Psalms 37:17

"For the arms of the wicked shall be broken; But Jehovah upholdeth the righteous." — Psalms 37:17 (ASV)

The arms — that is, of the body, not the sword and bow mentioned above. In contrast, the arms of Jehovah are under the righteous, and uphold him.
