"For this God is our God for ever and ever: He will be our guide [even] unto death." — Psalms 48:14 (ASV)

Unto death. —The words (‘al mûth) are proved by the ancient versions and various readings to be really a musical direction, either placed at the end instead of the beginning, as in Habakkuk 3:19, or shifted back from the title of the next psalm. See Psalm 9:0 (title), ‘alamôth.
