"Break their teeth, O God, in their mouth: Break out the great teeth of the young lions, O Jehovah." — Psalms 58:6 (ASV)

Break their teeth. —The change is abrupt from the image of obstinacy deaf to all charms, to that of violence that must be tamed by force.

Great teeth. —Literally, biters, grinders.
