"Sing unto God, ye kingdoms of the earth; Oh sing praises unto the Lord; Selah" — Psalms 68:32 (ASV)

Sing praises ... —Better, play and sing. The Selah, as in some other cases, is introduced where to our sense of rhythm it is quite out of place.
